Hydration/DehydrationFluid intake is especially important for older adults. Dehydration may produce muscle cramps, disorientation, confusion and other threatening healthcare conditions.  If they are severely dehydrated, they may go into shock which can be life-threatening. Watch this free webcast to learn about the strategies to increase fluid intake.

Ask the Geriatrician was developed to address the shortage of geriatricians available to meet with older adults and their caregivers in the United States. Geriatricians specialize in preventing and treating health issues in adults ages 65 plus, yet many people never have the opportunity to speak with one.

Ask the Geriatrician is a recurring monthly program shown live and later by demand. Dates and times are subject to change and any updates will be posted on mmLearn.org.
